Kumasi Asante Kotoko influential midfielder, Emmanuel Gyamfi has called on the supporters of the club to throng to Kumasi Baba Yara Sports Stadium in their numbers when they take on Elmina Sharks in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.
The former Black Satellites player feels the presence of their fabulous supporters at the stadium will ginger them to record third successive home win this season.
The premier league giants have collected ten points from their first four opening games of the season winning three and drawing one but have failed to score more goals with their highest been two against Liberty.
And as they prepare to face newcomers in week five of the GPL on Sunday, Gyamfi has pleaded with their teeming fans to troop to the Baba Yara Stadium in their numbers to help them win massively for the first time in the season.
“I am begging the supporters to come to the stadium and if they want us to win the league. Please come to support us and show us your love because the players need that. Your support is extra motivation for the players to score goals.
“If the supporters will not support; the players cannot play. The players need to feel the love at home the same way we feel away.
“We promise we won’t disappoint them come Sunday.”
